Is Delay In Periods Normal After Taking Course Of Duphaston And Raricap?
Question: Hi Doctor,
I am 28 years old with 2 years baby.
I had periods for continuos 8 days,so I consulted a gynecologist. she suggested trenaxa 500 6 tablets to stop bleeding and duphaston 10mg from 15th day and raricap for 1 mnth. i got my next cycle before completing the duphaston course means with in 20 days i got next period..so again i consulted my gynic..she prescribed femilon for 2 months starting from 5th day of period.
My husb is also in USA.so i don't have problem with pregnancy.gynic checked iternally and said it is normal.now i completed 1 month femilon on 4th oct.stil i dint det periods.is it normal in delay?
will my periods get normal if i stop femilon. please suggest.i am also planning to go USA.so want to clear the health problem before leaving.

2) After child birth it is possible that sometimes the hormonal axis takes time to get back to normal and hence such episodes of bleeding that you experienced.
3) It is better to continue the pills for next 3 months so that there is normal hormonal balance. Take pills with you and continue in USA also. STop pills after 3 months and your cycles are likely to be normal by then.

Using vitamin A is not a problem. You can use raricap. No problem.
Hairfall could be related to stress more than hormonal imbalance. You dont need to test any particular hormones for the same. Dandruff has nothing to do with all this. Keep your scalp clean by washing frequently with suitable shampoo. Scalp infection could also be a reason for hair fall. Please see a dermatologist for further advice.
You can start femilon on day 5 this time and continue with another pack immediately after first pack without any break till Nov 14. You wont get periods as long as you are on femilon.

suppose this month if I get period on 10th.on day 5 means 14th I need to start femilon first pack completes by nov 2nd and second pack I need to continue till nov 14th and stop or I need to complete 21 tablets second time also?
or can I start first pack on day 15 of period means 25th oct?
