Is Delay In Rolling Over In A 3 Month Old Infant A Cause For Concern?
Question: Hi Doctor ,
My baby is 3 months 3 weeks Old. She is not rolling over from back to front . we sometimes roll her to so that she is in crawling posture. she can lift her head and is comfortable in this posture for 10 -15 mins. But she does not do it by her own.
Do we need to worry
Thanks

Brief Answer:
No need to worry.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
The milestones to look for are:
* Social smile by completed 2 months.
* Head steadiness by completed 4 months.
* Sitting without support by completed 8 months
* Standing without support by completed 12 months
A child is expected to be able to roll over on her own by 6 months. So even though she might be comfortable in the 'crawling position' or may roll over with support, she still has time for reaching this milestone and you need not worry since it is not yet time.
Let me know if I could help further.
