Brief Answer:
Yes diclomol can be taken orally after food
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing in to us.
I have read through your query in detail.
Your wife can take DICLOMOL which has Diclofenac sodium as an active ingredient and is a non steroidal pain killer. This must be taken orally after food. Taking this on empty stomach can cause severe gastritis and must be avoided.
It is also advisable for her to take a pain killer and muscle relaxant combination ointment and apply it gently over the skin in the painful areas. The ointment should not be applied directly over wounds.
Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.
