Is Elisa Test Done Post 6 Months Of Exposure Conclusive?

Question: hi i am from xxxxxxx seven months ago i had a protected sex with a csw. condom was not broken till the end, while sucking her breast i assume something that came from nipple (not sure) but i drink it accidentally, i was in anxiety and thought i caught hiv, seven weeks later i got mouth ulcers, and got cleared in two days,after that i got some rashes on my back with small pimples, i thought it was ars and checked for hiv elisa it came as negative. BUT I DIDNT GET FEVER,SORE THROAT, BODY PAIN, SWOLLEN NODES ETC... and checked for STI too all came negative, BUT HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS 1(positive), my doctor said you are fine dont need to check again your reports were normal, and dont think abou that. and finally i checked again after six months with elisa method it came 0.026<0.300 negative. is this enough i completely free from hiv? some says that window period is 3 months, 6 months and even year, i am married, fearing to have sex with my wife, please help doctor

You had protected sex with CSW and the condom was not broken till the end than there is no risk for HIV. HIV is not transmitted through sucking of breasts or oral sex is very less risky beacuse human saliva is not fluid which transmits HIV and it also contains an enzyme which inhibits the growth of HIV virus.

You had tested negative after 6 months of exposure then nothing to worry at all as you are absolutely safe because the window period for HIV also varies from 15 days to 3 months so the test result is 100% reliable and conclusive. You need not to go for any further test and don't get feared to have sex with your wife.

thank you doctor, and sorry for questioning you again. so you are saying that hiv chapter is been closed, then why i need to say my past incident to doctor in future? if i say it then he/she will again start it from first? thats why i seek an expert like you. if you say i am fine then i will close this hiv chapter. and will not discuss with anyone. i will forget all the incident and will start to live my life happily..

i already consulted two dermatolgy MD in my city, they said hiv is not your problem, and there is no hiv specialist in my city,and i was been eagerly waiting to catch you, now all my doubts are been cleared, i wont discuss with anyone i will end my chapter here.. in future if i get any problems that are all not related to hiv. it will be as some other infections right? and i should not connect with hiv too? am i right..
