Is Exercising Advisable For A Pulmonary TB Patient While On Antibiotics?

Yes...You can continue gym.
Detailed Answer:
Hi...
Welcome to HCM.
Thank you for your query.
I have gone through it and understand your concern.
To address your first query..... Yes. I think it is excellent that you are focusing on physical exercise along with medications. I will suggest you to continue your workout as per your limitations, along with medication without worry.
Regarding supplements...I usually don't suggest my patients to go for falsely advertised supplements. Instead of them try natural supplements like green vegetables, fresh fruits, Fish, chicken, meat, milk(boiled and cooled). Include many eggs in your daily diet.
These supplements are definitely much more helpful than artificial supplements.
You can take your medications after breakfast or lunch. There is no problem. No change is required here.
But the most important thing to remember is NEVER STOP TAKING MEDICATIONS. Some patients just stop it once they start to feel comfortable. If possible try to maintain a pill chart to keep track of tablets you are consuming.
Mycobacterium can live in body for a very long time and hence completion of prescribed course is a must irrespective of patients condition.
TB even though takes long time, is a curable disease. You are doing everything a TB patient should ideally do for good results.
Hope this helps.
Take care, Bye.
