Is Exposure To Fumes From Burnt Camel Back Water Bottle Lid Dangerous?

Question: I was boiling a Camelback water bottle lid to sterilize it, and forgot to turn the stove top off. A friend stopped by, and we didn't notice the lid until it was smoking. We ushered my kids outside, opened all the windows and turned the exhaust fans on, but I am worried about the exposure. Is there any worry about long term health effects? I called poison control, so I know what to look for in the short term, but I am worried.
Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
I understand your concern. The material used in making these bottles and its lid is very safe for kids and any adult. Even if it was boiled too much to form a smoke, I do not see any risk because you had cleared from your room as soon as you found it. There are very little or almost no chances of any long term health effects.
Hope I answered your query. Feel free to ask more.
