Hello dear,

I understand your concern.
I need to know the following things:-
1) How many episodes of pulmonary thrombosis you had?
2) Did you had any blood related disorders since childhood?
3) Forward any blood investigations reports done so far?

Kindly let me know the above things for better suggestions.

Looking forward to hear from you.

Brief Answer:
it might be a transient embolus

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for the information.I understand your concern.
In my opinion as you have no abnormal blood related disorders and the pulmonary embolism(PE) was seen for only one episode then the recurrence in this pregnancy might be less around 8% to 10%.
The most common cause of PE is deep venous thrombosis ie.,thrombosis in leg veins. So it can be ruled out by vascular sonography.
But in your case the PE might be pregnancy related because pregnancy is a hypercoagulable state and due to stasis of blood in veins.
So dont worry.Recurrence might be very less as it might be transient embolus.
I suggest you to get the investigations like platelet count, vascular sonography done to rule out any clotting abnormalities and venous thrombosis.
Dont rest for prolonged periods and frequently move your legs to avoid venous stasis of blood.
Nothing to worry.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss further.
