Brief Answer:
Can be the symptoms of anxiety. Needs thorough in-person evaluation !!!

Detailed Answer:
Warm Welcomes. I appreciate your trust in HCM and assure you are on best portal on the globe for expert online medical services.
I have thoroughly reviewed health query you raised, and well realize all of those concerns. Being your physician, I will take care all of them today and will extend my expertise to solve the problems.

I feel really sorry for the health issues you have. Actually you are feeling heaviness and discomfort in the chest area, sleep disturbances and anxiousness at night. No deep and restful sleep.

These can be the signs of Anxiety OR may also be due to some cardiac disease. You need proper follow up with this issue and answer to you direct question is YES--You need to get worried about this issue.

How to proceed further to resolve the problem?
Please spare some time to consult a Cardiologist to rule out any cardiac issues. He will go for General Physical examination and then will run a battery of tests on you to see if there is some pathology of heart or related to blood or blood vessels.

Then you need to consult in-person a Psychiatrist. He will need to have a thorough in-office session to rule out anxiety being the cause of issue.

Don't worry, it's all manageable and you will be fine soon once the cause of issue is investigated and diagnosed.

Hope I addressed all the concerns you have. Let me know if you have further questions. I will be more than happy to clear any doubts. For any disease you have, a timely follow-up is necessary regarding the treatment efficacy and to see if there is a need to change treatment options. So keep a follow up to see how you doing (Always write down my name in start of your questions at this forum & I will be with you in no time).

Brief Answer:
Consult with specialists as discussed above !!!

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back with this follow up and I appreciate your continued trust in HCM.

Although less likely to be PE but I usually recommend for the evaluation as sometimes patients are totally asymptomatic. Yes, you may ask your Physician to test you for D-Dimer levels, CT-pulmonary angiography to see if there is PE that may be causing the issue. Actually, the Cardiologist when rules out cardiac issues to be less likely, recommend theses tests for PE as a differential diagnosis.

So, Cardiologist and Psychiatrist consultation should have to be your next line of action. My prays and best wishes are with you. Hope I addressed all the concerns you have. Let me know if you have further questions. I will be more than happy to clear any doubts.
