Is Generic Quetiapine XR Available In US?

Question: Good morning My wife is taking sustained release Seroquel. Medicare is no longer willing to pay for brand name Seroquel. Is there a generic brand of sustained release Seroquel that we can request. Thanks XXXXXXX XXXX

Till date no generic Quetiapine XR is available in USA. AstraZeneca has got the exclusive right to market sustained-release quetiapine until 2017 by name of Seroquel XR.

There are many plain generic brands available. If she can tolerate plain preparation she can take total 400 mg in divided dose.
