Is HCG Injection To Be Taken When Follicle Size Reaches 18mm?

Question: I am trying to concieve from last 9 months. ..
my gynae has advised me to take medicine umom from day 3 -10
progynova 4 mg mrng and 4 mg evening
n side by side m going for follicular studies.
my current size is 13 with et lining 4.8
and she has said to get injected corian 10000 ui as thd size gets 18
is this course right?

Thanks for your query.

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) Inj. hCG ( chorion) 10000 IU has to be taken when follicle reaches 18mm or more. There is no use before that. Your doctor is right.

2) Your endometrium is very thin at 4.8. That is the reason you are being given progynova. I suggest you take additional medicines i am writing below for improving endometrium.

3) Meanwhile I suggest you start taking tablet ecosprin 75 mg once daily and tablet sildenafil ( brand alivher) 25 mg once daily night vaginally. you need to take prescription for the same.

4) Goal is to increase endometrium to 7mm.
