I have no heart disease in either of my parents, but my father's father and my paternal aunt have heart disease. how likely will I get heart disease?
Brief Answer:
Very little chance to get heart disease...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Shortly, no one can give an exact answer on likelihood of getting heart disease taking into account your personal and family history.
You have only little chances to get heart disease (HD) as you have a family history (having your parents) with HD and are a little overweight.
If you try to reduce your weight, and continue to be as healthy as you are now, the risk will be reduced too.
Hope it answered to your question! Let me know if I can be of further help!
