I was told by my parents that I could not get Hepatitis again. I got it on a vacation trip and they thought I probably got it from a public bathroom. I was just wondering if Hep C was included in that basic statement from my parents (who are now both dead). Is it a possibility that I could contract Hep C even though I had "infectious" hepatitis.
Brief Answer:
Hepatitis c cannot be contacted by normal infections
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr XXXX No unfortunately your previous exposure (which seems like Hepatitis A) will not make you immune to hep C as their mode of transmission is completely different
