Question: my daughter has hep c with virus load 300,000 and ana 1280 speckled coarse is this related to hep c or something else, she also recently had mono

hepatitis C is a well-known cause of positive antinuclear antibodies with a specked pattern. Since she has been diagnosed with hepatitis C antinuclear positivity is almost normal. 1 out of 4 or 5 patients with hepatitis C may have positive ANA. The specked pattern in these patients is the rule.
