Is Inhalation Of Paint Fumes Harmful?

Question: HI, I was spray painting cabinets back in August of this year. I wore a painting respirator but the fumes were intense as I was in an enclosed room with very little ventilation. My breathing haven't been the same. I feel short of breath when talking for a period of time. I did go to a pulmonary doctor about 2 months ago and they did a before and after breathing test with an inhaler. There was a difference. I have another follow up appointment next month. I'm also 50 years old, never smoked and healthy otherwise. Can anything further be done?
Brief Answer:
The follow up exam is the best way to tell
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
This follow up test would be the best way to tell. Several persons would recover to a significant degree after such an exposure and some might never really recover fully. To tell exactly how your own case would turn out, this follow up exam would be very helpful. However, most persons would recover and you too. Report the findings to me for more insights.
I will like to know how this plays out. I wish you well.
