Simple precautions advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for trusting health care magic.
No dulcolex is not at all given in pregnancy and rather try following measures-
- ask her to have s lot of water
- take salads 2/3 times a day
- warm water intake after waking up
- avoid junk food
- take cremaffin powder two spoons two times a day which is a good agent and safe in pregnancy
Try these measures and see the response.

Brief Answer:
Simple agents first
Detailed Answer:
I understand your concern and I come across such problems in pregnant females daily in my practice as almost 20-30% patients develop constipation in pregnancy.
Take all the precautions I told you in our previous discussion and I'm happy you have been taking good amount of water already.
Cremaffin and cremadite powder are the two brands easily available in market and are safe.
Isabgol is a little strong purgative and thus used only in severe cases who are refractory to simple ones.
Picosulphates are not contraindicated but we try to start with natural remedies and then on softer agents and then jump to other ones and thus avoid resistance to these agents.
Water is the main antidote and specially if taken just after waking up gives best results.
