Question : I’m taking 250mg of Generic lamisil. Terbinafine
It says not to drink alcohol if I drank one night during the weekend would it be ok ?

Hello,

Lamisil is a brand name for generic Terbinafine hydrochloride. It is not advised to drink alcohol while you are on Lamisil.
Lamisil may cause liver injury as a side effect. Therefore, if a patient is taking Lamisil for a long time it is advised to monitor liver function tests.

Alcohol produces toxic enzymes in the liver and together with Lamisil may have an additive effect on your liver. Even a one-time drink of Alcohol may damage your liver.

Please, try to avoid alcohol while you are taking Lamisil.
