Question: Hello Doctor ,
I had been suffering from jaundice from 3 weeks. At the early period my billirubin was 9.6 and sgpt was 2586. And now billurubin is 4.0. At the early period I felt very bad but now I'm feeling totally okay. Now I can eat anything without facing any problem and I can lead a normal life.
I've visited to a doctor and he gave me some tests.
And said me that my jaundice is for hepatitis E.
My question is given below .

2.What kind of rest should I take?
3.Can I play cricket /badminton? if not when will I able to do this?
4.what should I do after getting cure from jaundice?

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. Hepatitis E is a waterborne cause of infective viral hepatitis (similar to Hepatitis A) and recovers with rest and light diet.
Let me try to answer your queries one by one:
1. No.
2. Rest means less physical activity and intake of bland diet.
3. You can start playing after a fortnight.
4.. After getting cured you can simply return to your normal life. It is still advisable to eat light.
Let me know in case you have further queries.
