Is It Advisable To Postpone The Botulinum Toxin Injection?

Question: Just one footnote to my question. The antibiotic cycle will just be ending at the time of botox appointment and neuro surgeon injects into the facial area, not the gums.
Brief Answer:
It is advisable to postpone the botulinum toxin injection.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again and thanks for your questions.
I have read your question.
As I replied in the previous question, Botox injections may interact with several antibiotics when used simultaneously or the antibiotic is still in your system.
So, if the antibiotic and the Botulinum toxin injection are found to be interacting with subsequent adverse effects, it is advisable to postpone the injection until the antibiotic is cleared from your body.
It depends on the antibiotic but generally it takes days to weeks to be cleared from the body.
Discuss with your Doctor these issues.
Hope this helps.
Feel free to ask if you have any questions.

Apologies for contacting u again but one final question before discussion closes. My family doctor said amoxocillin is excreted from body within a day so no issue there. Since my neuro surgeon leaves it to me re injection site and the TN2 is lit up on left side from recent dental work, just wanted to ask u for best location to treat nerves in bottom teeth and gums. Usually he does next to ear and side of nose but has never treated for the bottom. Would there be a good site for him to target? And, again, last question and many thanks.
Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
There are no serious interactions between botulinum toxin injections and amoxicillin.
Regarding the injection site, it depends on the irradiation of the pain and these areas may include the facial papillae of the interdental gingiva on the painful region, alveoli in cases of phantom pain after dental extraction.
Furthermore, infiltration may be located at the subcutaneous tissue of the hemi-lip on the symptomatic side, and the hard palate.
Discuss with your Doctor these issues.
Hope this helps.
Take care.

Dr, one emergency question. Have a tooth that failed and needs immediate extraction/implant
There may be some swelling. Since it takes 3 months to get in to see neuro for botox, and appt. is scheduled for about same time as dental work, just want to get your take on whether to keep or postpone botox.
