Is It Advisable To Switch From Similac To Lactogen?

You should make the switch exclusively to breast milk.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
Let me emphasize on the fact that breast milk is the best possible feed for a baby and there can be no alternatives for the same. The production of breast milk is dependent on the hunger of the baby. If you give external feeds like Similac, the production of breast milk will simply adjust itself (reduce itself). So, my suggestion would be to switch back exclusively to breast milk and nothing else upto 6 months of age. If you stop Similac, the production of breast milk will automatically pick up gradually and you need not worry about the same.
If you still wish, you can change the formula from Similac to NAN 1 Pro or Lactogen 1 although I would not really advocate it. They are all more or less the same.
If the child is refusing feeds, check the urine freqeuency and the overall activity levels. If these are fine you need not worry, but otherwise you need to take the child to a doctor and get him evaluated. Children often do not feed well when ill. Breast milk improves the immunity of a child and reduces the frequency of a child falling ill.
