Is It Advisable To Take Hydrocodone While Taking Baclofen?

Question: how long after taking baclofen can you take hydro. dose of baclofen is 10mg hydro is 5/325.
I also take nature thyroid, wellbutrin, effexor, metoprolol, linzess, this morning. I'm in pain now took the baclofen 2 hours ago. is it safe to take a hydrocodne?

Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

You are currently taking baclofen and hydrocodone I assume for pain and muscle spasms. There is a drug to drug interaction with the tow medication mostly due to increased risk of sedation. Therefore taking them together may increase your ability to stay awake and stay alert. I recommend that you take the baclofen and hydrocodone about 2 hours apart. That should allow you to dose at least every 4 hours with something for pain control.

You can if you need take the two medications together but I would caution about being very sleepy after taking the two together
