I am.unable to decide further.Shall i wait for 2 more years for the completion of 5 years or can try now for pregnancy.Kindly guide
Brief Answer:
You can try for pregnancy.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
In theory taking tamoxifen for 5 years may reduce cancer recurrence by 17 %more than taking it for 2 years . About your case you have been using it for three years and all current tests are normal also your carcinoma was T2N0M0 which means it was not spread so you can be in low risk for reocurance.
I think that using tamoxifen for 2 more years and waiting for 2more years will not have good effects on your ovaries quality, follicle qualities.
So as a conclusion you are in perfect time to try for pregnancy.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.

Thank u mam for your valuable guidance.Mam I want to ask that whether I should try for natural conception or shall i proceed for IVF.As i already mentioned that I am BRCA 2 positive too. Is Pregenetic testing for the embryo is necessary? I dont want to got through rigorous cycles of IVF but I am also scared that my child may carry the mutation.I request you to kindly guide me further.
Brief Answer:
Better IVF and PGT
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
I think that you better undergo IVF and pgt test in order that the embryo can be free of mutations or other conditions and also that IVF can be successful.
As a cancer survival getting pregnant naturally can be more difficult and may have more complications then other pregnancies.
Having IVF and PGT may increase chances of healthy pregnancy and healthy child.
