Brief Answer:
Hello,

Detailed Answer:
Hello, welcome to ask a doctor services. I have read your question.

You have an issue of meth. I can understand your concern. Meth has several serious disadvantages and health risks like mental health problems, brain damage, skin issues, physical health & dental problems, etc. Meth can also lead to job loss, strained relationships, or legal issues.

You are advised to get connected to a detox centre and allow them to gradually taper you off meth. They will take care of the withdrawal symptoms. You will be given medicines to help you cope with symptomatic problems. You will successfully come out of the addiction; it may take some time. No worries.

The rash that you have will reduce as you detox. However, take care of your hygiene. Take bath regularly & wear loose fitting soft cotton clothes.

Since it causes you itching & burning, you can apply ointment hydrocortisone on the affected area. It will help to reduce itching. Take antihistamine at bedtime so that allergy due to the rash is reduced. Do not pick, touch or scratch.

You can apply ointment Betnovate N to the affected area, to keep the rash under control. Efaderm Cream also helps to control eczema.

You also have bad haemorrhoids. You are advised to keep yourself well hydrated. Take water & fluids adequately.

Take sitz bath, 3-4 times a day. Applying ice packs or cold compresses to the affected area for 15 minutes at a time will help reduce swelling.

Include fibre in your diet. Avoid taking oily, spicy, hot, fried food. Take simple nutritious homemade food. Prefer taking boiled food over spicy food.

Laxatives or suppositories help better & comfortable bowel movement. Use it. Avoid sedentary life, stay active to prevent constipation & reduce pressure on the veins (do exercises).

You can apply ointment Rectiv, it contains nitroglycerin, a nitrate that dilates (widens) blood vessels and treats moderate to severe pain caused by haemorrhoids. First apply a thin layer on the affected area. If it suits you & relieves pain, then you can apply a thicker layer.

For relieve you can also apply haemorrhoid cream/ointments (Anusol ointment). You can take pain relieving medicines after food like ibuprofen, one stat. Taking acetaminophen or NSAIDs are also helpful. Take only one pain relieving medicine at a time.

It should get better in a week. If you are still uncomfortable, you can get it clinically examined by a GP, you may need minimum invasive treatment or may be recommended surgery if required.

Hope I have answered your question. Take care.

Brief Answer:
Hello,

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Since you have other complications as well, you may not use ''Rectiv'' ointment. Rectiv ointment can cause allergic reactions at the site affected in sensitive people like flushing or redness of the skin. Do not use it.

Instead taking sitz bath will be more comfortable. Cold compress is also soothing. Control over diet & being well hydrated works.

Hope I have answered your question. Take care.
