Is It Feed An Infant With Breast Milk Along With Nestle Nan Pro?

Question: We have a baby girl now 1 month old. We have tried a lot to fed only breast milk but since her weight was not increasing we thought breast milk is not suffice and as per Dr recommendations we started to top feed with nestle Nan Pro. So as per last week estimates baby is getting fed around 300 ml Breast milk + 400 ml formula one.Need a second opinion if this is fine.
Brief Answer:
yes that is fine
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Sometimes breastfeeding may be less in the first few weeks.
You can give formula which you are giving now.
Don't worry.
That is sufficient for the baby.
Ensure regular check ups once in a month to assess her response in weight gain.
I am sure she will gain weight.
No need to give anything else apart from what you are giving now.
Breastfeeding output will improve gradually.
Do continue breastfeeding for whatever quantity it comes.
Mother needs more liquids in her diet including water juices and milk.
Wishing your child good health.
