Question : My Grandson (2yrs old) is constantly putting his fingers or anything else in his mouth and drools constantly as well, even though he has a full set of teeth.
Brief Answer:
It is normal for a child of this age. No need to worry.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
Let me assure you that at this age, it is absolutely normal for the child to put anything and everything in its mouth. This forms the sensorimotor stage when the child explores the world around. The child wants to get the 'feel' of the things and hence puts them in the mouth. So naturally you would have to maintain a healthy surroundings and you need to put away from the child anything that could cause any harm.
The drooling is not a cause to worry about. As the child learns to swallow its own saliva, it will go away.
Hope that helps.
