Is It Normal For A Baby To Cry Every Time He Passes Motion?

Question: We have a 23 days old baby boy with c-section.. Baby is healthy and is being fed by her mother well.. Also, baby's motions and urine discharge are also fine and does it every 2 to 3 hours on average. Also the stool is in yellow colour and I think it is a healthy sign.. urine is also white in colour and it falls in some distance and I guess this is also a good sign... however, since last 3 or 4 days, a minute or two before he goes for motions everytime, he is crying heavily and once he is done with it, he is again normal and stops crying... Similar is the case with urine discharge..once in a while, before urine discharge, he is crying and goes back to normal once done with it... Apart from on this, the baby is perfectly alright in all regards..

As explained below.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
I have gone through the details. It is normal. Nothing to worry. As the baby cries when hungry some babies will cry to seek attention. As long as there is no hard stools or inability to pass urine and motions. Or is having fever/rash. We can wait and watch. He will settle down.
I hope this answered the query.
