Is It Normal For A Diabetic To Low BS Levels?
Take frequent small meals
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
I think I can help you.
While the symptoms of the query are not normal, they are expected in a diabetic person.
2 reasons-
1. there is a rapid transit of food in the stomach. Thus there is not enough time for the absorption of the calories.
2. the insulin secreted is for the total amount eaten (even if less than normal). With rapid transit if food it becomes too much and sugars fall.
The remedy is frequent small meals. Avoid a major meal. Keep ready a sugar diet for the hypoglycaemia.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem.
Best of luck.
Dr Mittal
