Is It Normal For My Stools To Be Light Yellow After Starting Protonix For GERD?

Question: I have GERD l, and I have been having a pretty bad flare up lately, I have specifically changed my diet bc of it. No more fatty foods. Which has helped some, but I still am belching some and having acid come up at times. Anyway I have to take medicine all the time, and my stools are usually orangish brown, with a tint of yellow. I been on protonix for about 7 days and I used the bathroom and my stool was really light colored yellow. Am I okay?

All colors of stools from green to brown to black except tarry black are normal. So please don't worry about the stool colors till it's charcoal black or white.
