Brief Answer:
Respiratory symptoms could cause enlargement of lymph node

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day
Dear Sir

Lymph nodes are commonly enlarged during upper respiratory tract infection. Tenderness could also be present . Improvement in respiratory symptoms is also associated with regression in size of lymph nodes.

I would suggest you the following

1. A course of antibiotics for a week will help in regression in lymph node swelling

2. A routine assessment and examination by your physician will be reassuring.

3. Antinflammatory drug like Ibuprofen will help relieve pain .

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take care
