Question: Hello Doctor..

Me and my husband are TTC and during intercourse when my husband's sperm discharge .. i lie down 15-20 minutes on bed so that sperm can not comes out... But even after my husband discharge his sperm into my vagina .. any how sperm comes out that much that my bed also get wet.. Its normal ?

Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Yes dear it is common for the semen to come out of vagina after liquefaction.
But in general you can try following measures to enhance the chances of conception -
1) try to keep a pillow beneath your buttocks after sex so that gravitational force keeps the semen inside your vagina for a longer time.
2) you should not get up for at least 20-25 minutes
3) try conventional position of sex female lying down on bed
4) maximum chances of conception are in day 10-18 of the cycle in case you have regular cycles.
I hope these measures will help you in conception in near future.
