Question: Doctor, apologies for another question but the neurologist tried something new today and just need your opinion. He wants to try a once a week (for five weeks) some Traumeel injections into the face. Today was the first in both the left and right side. As u know, Traumeel is some homeopathic alternative. Got some relief for TN2 but the AO symptoms (gnawing, aching) increased in intensity. Just wanted to get your overall take before going for a second treatment and if it may be a normal reaction for AO symptoms to spike before subsiding? Thank u so much.

It is excepted to experience some change in symptoms in the initial phase,

Traumeel is thought to have good properties as an inflammatory remedy.

Chronic inflammation may be one of the factors that may contribute to AO symptoms. so, I think that you should continue with Traumeel with the scope of calming down any inflammation.

Discuss with your Neurologist these issues.
