Is It Normal To Bleed For 10 Days After Using Unwanted Kit?
Question: I have used 1 year expired mankind unwanted kit and abortion happened but I have been bleeding for the last 10 days, but the bleeding is not stopping. Is it normal or I should worry, please suggest some medication to stop the bleeding as I am feeling weak.

I think you have an incomplete abortion. Expired tablet will have furthur reduced efficacy. Normally heavy bleeding will be there only on the day of intake of 2nd pill. Minimal bleeding will last for a week. So get a scan done to see for retained products of conception. Depending on the amount of retained products, repeated medication or D and C will be advised by your doctor..
Since you are feeling week, get an Hb done to detect anemia. Iron tablet may be required to build up Hb.

hi Dr. Thanks for your quick revert, but just want to add that when I had inserted 4 pills in my vagina, the same night the sack dropped while I was urinating. So I am sure that the abortion has happened successfully but I am still bleeding. Please advice what the next course of action. Thanks.
