Is It Normal To Have A Little Indention Between The Soft And Hard Pallet?
Question: Is it normal to have a little indention between the soft and hard pallet? I've circled the area on the picture that I am referring to. It's like the hard pallet ends, there's a concave area and then the soft pallet begins.

I have read your query and gone through the reports (image) you have attached. The area you have encircled is the junction of hard and soft palate and that depression you have marked is fovea palatine where you can find glands of palate.
It is normal. Found in all of us. There is nothing to be worried and scared. You have normal soft palate and in you image slight keratosis is seeing in hard palate region.
Nothing cancerous you need to consult oral surgeon for clinical examination for keratosis if any symptoms you have observed.
If you have no symptoms need not to worry about that also.

So you are saying the keratosis that you see in the picture is not cancerous? I rub my tongue on my hard palate a lot, could this cause it? I don't smoke.

As i have told u earlier also it can be due to Frictional Keratosis that is a harmless overproduction of keratin layer over the mucosa as a protective phenomena to prevent damage to mucosa with the friction and chemicals.. Yes it might be due to rubbing or due to any medicine.
I will advise you not to worry - Take healthy diet. Drink plenty of water. Take green leafy vegetables and fruit juice daily. Maintain good oral hygiene.
There is nothing to be scared.
