Is It Normal To Have Elevated Prolactin Levels While Breast Feeding?

Yes it is normal during breast feeding.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
It is normal to have high prolactin levels during lactation. This hormone is responsible for secretion of milk by the breast. The high levels do cause the absence of periods or delayed or irregular periods with a lesser then normal bleeding. This is normal. Your periods will return to normal once you stop the breast feeding completely. The serum prolactin levels will also reduce after stopping the breast feeding.

Antibiotic is needed.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
I have seen the images attached. There is redness in the area suggestive of an infection. It can grow in size in case the infection increases. It is best to take antibiotic, a mild pain killer and do a hot compress in the area for relief.
Hope my answer is helpful.

You can start at 7 months.
Detailed Answer:
At 7 months you can start introducing the normal milk in his diet gradually. You can start with the milk products also and see if there is any change in his bowel habit like constipation or diarrhea.

It can be a normal variation.
Detailed Answer:
A baby may not sit without a support till 9 months. Some babies do learn to balance later on. There is no need to worry if rest of his milestones and growth are normal. You can consult his pediatrician to confirm this.
