Is It Normal To Have Extreme Abdominal Pain Post Medical Abortion?
Question: My wife take milepristone 48 hrs ago.. Half an hour ago she took 4 mispprostal tablets in one dose... Now she is having extreme pain in abdomen.. Is the pain normal...can i give her pain killer? Wat pain killer shld be given?

Yes this pain is common and is bound to occur.
Don't give her any painkiller as that will slow down the abortion process and will increase the chance if incomplete abortion.
So just wait till expulsion of fetal products and then you can give her tablet buscopan or meftal spas as and when required.
Just ask her to lie down in bed and have rest and avoid eating too much as she can have nausea or vomiting due to the misoprostol tablet.
