Brief Answer:
Please see an ENT surgeon for evaluation

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

As per your picture, the mass seen is may be due to tonsillitis or maybe quinsy. Kindly let me know if you have difficulty in swallowing, sore throat, difficulty in speaking, cough or rhinitis.

I would suggest you to do Gargling using Povidone gargles solution 2 to 3 times a day. Use Alex Cough Lozenges and take steam inhalations. Still if you do not get relief then please consult with ENT surgeon for detailed medical examination.

Hope this helps.

Please see the detailed answer below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

It's good that you do not have any other symptoms.

I don’t think it’s cancer. Please watch for the cancer symptoms like weight loss, loss of appetite. In that case kindly consult with a physician or if mass persist for more than 5 to 7 days then consult with ENT surgeon.

Till then continue gargling and steam inhalations.

Take care.

Dr. Shyam Kale
