Brief Answer:
Not a cause to worry. Echocardigraphy to be done after 2 months.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

Two umbilical arteries and one umbilical vein is normally present in the umbilical cord. It is not present in the heart but connects with the heart. It is a normal finding and not a cause to worry about.

During the fetal life there are certain communications between chambers of heart. These close at or soon after birth. A small opening, unless a cause of distress, should close soon afterwards and should not be a cause to worry about. But an echocardigraphy should be done after 2 months to evaluate the progress.

Hope that helps.
