Is It Normal To Have Vaginal Bleeding Post I Pill Intake?

Question: Hi Dr. we had sex on 14 Dec & i took i pill on the same day within 8 hours. There was no bleeding or spot after taking i pill within 7 days. my period must come on 11-16 of XXXXXXX month will my period come on time or it will be delay i am just worried why did i not have bleeding within 7 days. my last period time was on 9 Dec till 13 Dec i had sex on 14 Dec & i took i pill before 24 hours but i did not get any bleeding which we have after taking it after 7 days
1 pls say me is it compulsory to bleed after taking i pill or did my i pill worked
2 when can i have my period last time it was on 9 Dec to 13 Dec will i have it on time next month
3 Is it compulsory i should have bleeding within 7 days after taking pill

1) You did SAFE sex (just after period over) and took I-Pill within 24 hrs. It will give more than 95% protection additionally. Here, you have NO chance of pregnancy.

2) Most women get a withdrawal bleeding within 7 to 10 days of taking the pill. However, it is NOT mandatory. It will give same protection without bleeding.

3) You should await for upcoming period or due date. Your period may be delayed for 1 week due to hormonal imbalance and mental stress.

can i take dronis 30 again? is their any side effects after taking dronis. I was suffering from urine infection before 6 months. Is their any chance of having urine infection after taking dronis 30

Thanks for follow up query.

1) Yes, you can take Dronis 30 (combined hormonal pill) from Day 5 of your cycle. It gives highest protection and regular monthly period.

2) There are some common side effects like nausea, vomiting, headache, breast tenderness, bloating, abdominal cramp, weight gain etc.

3) Urinary infection is NOT related with this contraceptive pill. You should take some precaution during sexual intercourse to avoid repeated infection. Do one urine routine and culture test to identify causative agent. Use condom and water based lubricant only.

You must drink plenty of water (2.5 to 3 lit/ day) to flush out the body toxin, take cranberry juice (one glass) regularly, maintain genital hygiene properly and empty bladder in time. You should LIMIT fatty or sugary foods.

for how much time i take dronis 30. I had it from last two years gapping 3 months after taking it for 6 months. I don't want child for next one year.
