Question: Is it normal to hear an air suctioning noise while getting your blood drawn?

drawing blood is a completely silent procedure. Air suctioning noises can be explained if air passes through a small passage with high speed. This could be a faulty syringe or the tip of the syringe half out of the skin and half in the vein. This should be visible (small bubbles) in the syringe though.

The individual who drew my blood said I would likely get a bruise too so it caused me to believe she did something very wrong. The bruise by itself doesnt worry me, it was in conjunction with the strenge noise ive never encountered while having blood drawn. Just got me all worried.
