Is It Normal To Still Be Bleeding 7 Days After
Can wait until tomorrow.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using "Ask a Doctor" service.
SHG is a very safe procedure and usually is performed without incident. Serious complications are rare. The most common serious complication with SHG is pelvic infection. However, this occurs less than 1% of the time and usually occurs when a woman also has a block or infection of the fallopian tubes.
SHG may also cause cramping, spotting, and vaginal discharge. Some women have cramping for several hours after the procedure. It is not common though to have bleeding or pain 7 days after the procedure. If this cannot be your period then for sure call your doctor to consider having another check. The uterus is a very strong muscle so I do not expect to have happened a perforation but maybe a scratch. It can wait until tomorrow unless the bleeding is very heavy.
Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Kind regards,
