Is It Ok To Have Asymmetrical Tonsils ?
Question: I have asymmetrical tonsils which I've had checked by multiple doctors and I've always been told they are fine, however, I have noticed the bottom left one is turning a yellow colour. It doesn't appear to be a film or tonsil stone but the flesh itself.
Brief Answer:
Please send a picture
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Asymmetrical tonsils are quite normal.
If possible you can send me a picture of the tonsils to check for yellow part also tell me if you are having pain swallowing or fever.
There isn't any pathology which cause the tonsils tissues to turn yellow. It can be tonsils stones or infection.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Can be a mucus cyst in tonsil.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear ,
I see the picture you attached and there is a yellow part in the bottom of the left tonsil. I think it can be a cyst filled with mucus.
It is benign and doesn't require treatment if it doesn't increase size and if it doesn't bother you .
