Is It Ok To Postpone The Vaccination?

default
Posted on Wed, 5 Nov 2014
Question: Dear Doctor,

I have a concern regarding my infants 10 weeks vaccination (2nd set), which is due next week on 23rd. Unfortunately our consulting doctor is not available from 22nd to 26th. So the earliest consulting/vaccination date is 27th, i.e. 4 days post his exact vaccination date.
We are worried if postponing the actual date of vaccination would be medically ok ? Kindly please do advise.

Thanks and Regards,
XXXX

Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX, greetings from XXXXXXX KK XXXXXXX ... please be rest assured. Nothing will happen by a 4 days postponement. You can fetvtge vaccines after your regular pediatrician arrives or consultation is acquired. But if you are not very particular that only he should administer the vaccines, you can opt to get it with any one of your nearest pediatricians.
