Is It Okay To Take Xarelto, Sotolol And Tylenol PM Together?
Question: is it ok to take xarelto, sotolol and Tylenol pm together
Brief Answer:
Skip the Tylenol PM
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,
I put these 3 medications:
Xarelto
Sotalol
Tylenol PM
into the Lexicomp Drug Interactions data base. What came up is that Sotalol and Tylenol PM should not be taken together. The reason for that is that both of these 2 medications have the potential to cause QT prolongation (that's the period of time in the heart cycle from contraction to resting phase) and if you take both, it can compound that potential.
It is ok to take the Xarelto and Sotalol together but skip the Tylenol PM.
If you are interested, I can copy and paste the information about Sotalol and Tylenol PM together.
