Is It Possible For Internal Cheek Scar Tissue To Completely

I fractured my cheek bone in September. I am left with a cheek which is larger than the other one and daily twitching. I have been referred to a neurologist, however, my appointment is not until 27th August (almost a year later). The twitching started a few months after the injury. I have been trying to find alternative treatments in beauty clinics. Please advice
It could be hemifacial spasm.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and would try my best to help you.
I have noted your clinical details. Based on the symptoms, the twitching of cheek muscles could be due to hemifacial spasm. This may or may not be related to the cheek injury. Based on clinical examination, a facial nerve conduction studies and MRI brain may be advised. This responds to medical treatment. In some cases, botox injections would be useful.
Scar tissue does heal well over time, however, the healing may not be 100%.
I sincerely hope my reply has helped you.
I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.
Best wishes,
