Question: Is it possible these symptoms are related to Gilberts Syndrome? fatigue, yellow eyes, stomach indigestion …. in 2013 surgeon performed ecrp to remove a stone in biliary tract and also had gallbladder removed. He noted I probably have this condition as I continued to exhibit yellowish in eyes after surgery. I currently have these symptoms of vague stomach disturbance, tiredness and yellowishness of eyes.

Detailed Answer:

Hello
Welcome to HCM. Thank you for your query. i understand your concern.
I have noted your history.
Having persistent jaundice in the form of yellow eyes for years can be related to Gilbert's syndrome. This is associated with raised indirect bilirubin in blood as compared to direct bilirubin (both direct and indirect are components of total bilirubin). How ever this raised bilirubin because of Gilbert's does not cause symptoms. Stone (recurrence) in biliary tract can cause jaundice but is usually associated with jaundice pain and fever which you do not have. also tiredness and vague stomach disturbance could be unrelated to these issues. worthwhile doing few basic test like complete liver function test, gamma GT, Ultrasound abdomen and see. Also lifestyle modification like regular walk avoiding coffee aerated drinks, proper eating and sleeping habits will help you in long run.
