Is It Possible To Conceive When Having Hemorrhagic Cyst?
I am 48 years old and I remove my left overy and I do have a cyst measuring 3.1 and 3.3 cm on my right overy and I did my ct scan it shows that may represent hemorrhagic cyst or less likely endometrioma
And I am trying to get pregnant and I am waiting for my doctor appointment but can you please tell me what does that mean and if possible get pregnant after treatment if it is possible thank you
ovarian cysts do not rule out pregnancy
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question
It is possible to get pregnant even if you have ovarian cysts. If you have endometriosis that could have caused some problems with your fallopian tube and that could make getting pregnant more difficult. Cysts of that size do not always need treatment, sometimes they just resolve on their own.
If your periods are regular and your are ovulating and your fallopian tubes are open then you can still become pregnant.
Understand though that pregnancy at 48 years old is a difficult and somewhat high risk situation and you will need very close follow up with an obstetrician even now while you are trying to conceive.
Best wishes to you,
