Is It Possible To Touch And Mess Around With A

Question: Is it possible to touch and "mess around with" a reactive swollen lymph node enough that it won't heal? I have what I think is a reactive lymph node but I've been trying to move it around because I've read that fixed/unmovable ones are more serious. I've been trying to see if it is indeed fixed because it's hard to tell. I haven't actually felt pain from trying to move it. I'm not doing anything that aggressive. But I've gently squeezed the area many times and tried to move it around. If it is indeed a reactive lymph node and if I just leave it alone, is it still likely to return to normal size? Or could I have damaged the node and it won't heal?

Brief Answer:
Hii.The nature of the lymph node doesn't change with handling. Don'tbe anxi

Detailed Answer:
Hii.The nature of the lymph node doesn't change with handling. Don'tbe anxious. If the lymph node is fixed with the above skin or muscles then it may be due to any chronic inflammation or may be due to any malignant. But the fixity of swelling can be tested by surgeon. Don't try to do it because you cannot do it properly and you will get anxious. You haven't mentioned the exact location of the node. Consult a general surgeon. If advised then you can start antibiotic. If it doesn't resolvewith antibiotic then you may need a FNAC test and USG to nature of the swelling. After that only you can differentiate a swelling. Touching or moving the lymph node doesn't change the nature of the node. Please let me know if there is any queries.
