Brief Answer:
it depends...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

muscular paralysis may progress for up to one week after its onset. 1 out of 3 patients will get better. Most of the reversible damage will have disappeared after one month. No damage can be reversed after 9 months have passed. If the time has passed, you can only try to use effectively what's left by means of physiotherapy.
