Brief Answer:
Very well recommended.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

As you described it, I think your doctor has done a very good reccommendation to a person who has high risk like you.

You need to relax and talk tomorrow with your ObGyn regarding the procedure, how long it will take, do you need to stop taking certain medication before (if you are already on other medication), how long after the procedure may you have difficulty on urination. Do you need to take anti pain medication after the operation? and the most important is to discuss with your doctor about any remaining percentage of developing other ovarian-like cancer?

On my opinion performing this operation is a good decision and I would suggest to try to remain calm because everything will go well. This is not a very difficult operation.

Take Care!
