Is It Safe To Excersise Afetr High Fever And High Platelet Count?
Stop weight lifting, mild cardio is better
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX I know you want t try and stick to your routine and not loose your habits. But when you are sick and getting over an infection, the last thing you want to do is strain and damage your muscles furthur... which is what lifting weights is all about.
I'm not even joking, weight lifting is all about causing microfractures in the cell membranes of the muscle. When the muscles heal they end up bigger, hence the bulking up.... In this case though its a bad idea.
Try and do some light cardio every day, even when you are on vacation and you will be much better served. PLus drink plenty of fluids so the muscles can surround themselves in inflammatory precursors and heal faster.
Make sense? I hope this helps, feel free to follow up.

Would swimming be alright? I'll be staying at a beach resort in Goa while on vacation and they've got a pool there. I'd like to swim a little if that's ok.

XXXX
Best idea ever, just stay hydrated
Detailed Answer:
Hi, swimming is one of the best things you can do to help your muscles heal up. Just don't overdo it (it's easy to forget how hard you are working your muscles when you are in the pool). I know it's counter-intuitive but people tend to dehydrate when they swim, so keep drinking water and have fun in Goa!
