Brief Answer:
Dose of Paracetamol is 15 mg/ Kg /dose

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Ms XXXXXXX

The dosage of Calpol ( Paracetamol) is 15 mg per kilogramme body weight per dose 6th hourly. The dosage needs to be adjusted according to weight of baby.

Majority of respiratory tract illness in children are viral in origin and self limiting. I would suggest you the following

1. Maxtra drops 1.5 ml thrice a day

2. Normal saline nasal drops: 3-4 drops in each nose 6 times a day

3. Steam Inhalation: Preferably using in electronic steamer. Maintain safe distance from baby. Use for 5 to 10 minutes thrice a day

4. Vicks vaporub: apply it over the clothing of chest. It will provide symptomatic relief.

5. Keep baby appropriately covered

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take Care
